Is smoking permitted?
Fire Marshall’s regulations - NO smoking in the building or on the outside premises.
Can I have tea or coffee in my room?
Certainly. In the kitchen there is a selection of 30+ types of teas and freshly ground coffee. I’ll be happy to make up a tray for you to take to your room, along with a small bucket of ice for your cold beverages. Just ask!
Do you allow guests to bring in alcoholic beverages?
Are pets allowed?
Service dogs, yes. Your dog needs to be in your control at all times. If they have an ‘accident’ in the house please tell me right away. No problem to clean it up. I have a dog of my own in the house - small Shepherd/Husky/Corgi mix - very well mannered and petite at 6 years old.
Do the rooms have tv’s or fridges?
The guest rooms each have their own television sets with streaming Netflix service. There is free wireless high speed internet available throughout the house. There is one main fridge in the kitchen, none in the guest rooms. Ice is available on request.
Is there free parking?
Parking is provided in the parking lot in front of the house. Motorcycles are also welcomed to park on the pavement in the front of the house. Snow mobiles can park in the main parking area.
What forms of payment do you accept?
MasterCard, Visa, Discover, ApplePay, Interac, Paypal, cash, email transfers. Sorry, we do not accept cheques. There are 2 cash machines in town, for your convenience.
When do you expect payment for my stay?
Do you accept walk-ins or bookings with short notice?
Yes, definitely. Depending on room availability. Just come to the door and ask, or give a call to 709-566-2055, or check the room availability on this website homepage or the booking page.
If I don’t want breakfast is my room going to be less expensive?
No. Your breakfast of choice is included in the room rate, whether you choose a full breakfast, or nothing.
